While Suncity Ventures is a modern enterprise, its foundation rests on a 70-year legacy of textile excellence. We belong to a distinguished business house that has defined the garment trade in Odisha for three generations—from the traditional mastery of fabrics and sarees to the modern era of international readymade brands. This deep-seated heritage provides us with an instinctive understanding of the garment lifecycle, ensuring that while our methods are modern, our expertise is timeless.

Our Founder

Mr. Binod Kumar Agarwal

A third-generation entrepreneur, Mr. Binod Kumar Agarwal is the driving force behind Suncity’s ascent. His journey began in the vibrant markets of Cuttack, where he spent 15 years mastering the complexities of sales and marketing in the traditional saree and dhoti trade.

In 2007, he transitioned into the modern retail era with a flagship store in Bhubaneswar opened in 2000, followed by the establishment of Suncity Ventures in 2009. Through his visionary leadership, Suncity has become the backbone for brands like U.S. Polo Assn., Spykar, and Indian Terrain in Odisha. Today, Mr. Agarwal continues to steer the group toward new frontiers, blending ethical business practices with an aggressive roadmap for regional impact.
